Wednesday, went to eat @ Pizza Hut with Kaori after work then we had to go shopping for my Secret Santa person. Every Xmas, we will have to pick a person and we will buy a present for the person. This year, I intend to get a perfume for this person. So Kaori and me went to look. So while we were looking, we were being a bit jahat, opening the box and smelling the perfume la. Then Kaori opened one box and it started leaking. We were freaked. We managed to put it back in the box but by then the salesgirl was already behind me. Since we were squatting, Kaori looked up, put on a fake smile and said hi. How lame can the situation get? No choice, we had to tell her. She was all bossy asking how did it break and all. Wah! I was bloody pissed. I explained to her that when we lay the box on our palm, it was leaking. That means the bottle was not closed properly kan? Then she called her colleauge. Takot nah kena bayar. But of course, I refused to pay. So after saying to her, "So you are saying that we broke it and we have to pay?", the colleaugue finally opened the box and I think she realized that the bottle has a problem. So she said sorry to us and let us leave. Ape jek la pompuan negeri Cina ni...Kalau kena bayar pun, murah ape. And it's not our fault ok!!

Desmond and Willie came to Singapore to spend time with us and we were all grateful. They presented a presentation on how Starbucks as a whole is doing. We're doing fine by the way.
Since Thursday, we have been going through this customer service course. This is good, because, through the slides, we are able to know what we are doing wrong and where are the areas that we can improve on. Personally, I think it is good. I mean, there are a lot of things that I need to improve on.
Today, we continued again and then we had lunch at Shine Cafe. We had lotsa fun talking about stuff. From there, Aric boldly brought up the topic about team building. And SBUX had agreed to give us a certain amount of budget. And after much thinking, we might be going to either of these 4 places:-
- Kuala Lumpur
- Bintan
- Batam
- Kuching
Most probably it will be KL. And most probably the trip will fall on my birthday. Woohoo!!!
