I'm home alone sick. The rest out to Geylang!!And it's raining heavily. I have been having fever since yesterday and I still have it till now. After work, just now, I went straight to Ikea to buy more utensils. Shivering like crazy despite the mild windy weather, I was pushing the trolley through Ikea. Well, I was leaning against the trolley for support actually. Lucky tak pengsan ok!
As you know, 2moro is Hari Raya, and I'm not enjoying it that much! I was half alseep when I heard Takbir..And I was reminded of all the people that I love. Be it deceased or living. I remembered the happy moments we had together. The sorrow we went through together. Guess I am just emotional.
I was reminded of the happy moments that I had with Bapak. Right from beginning of fasting month. I would helped him pasang the lightings. He would come home, and instruct us to help him here and there. The late night supper of Pratas as Sahur. He would wake us up around 2 or 3 in the morn, telling us that he bought Prata. I would give the world to have that again. But Allah loves him more.
I remembered my grandma. The morning of Hari Raya, she will be sitting at her usual spot in the living room, wearing new Batik. Seeing her smile as she all her anak2, cucu2 and one and only cicit scattered all around the living. Asking for forgiveness from each other. She never failed to smile, despite the pain. May she be in a better place.
On a brighter note, house is ready to welcome relatives and guests. I will be having a small SBUX Hari Raya Open house and a bit of celebration for Kaori's bdae. She's turning 25 in about an hour. Mom will be continue to cook 2moro for my special guests, Kaori's parents. The rest of SBUX will be here too. I so can't wait.
This year, Hari Raya will be a Mak Long's. Since grandma passed away early this year, we figured it's only fair that we gather @ Nenek's eldest child. So will be going there around 11. But will be coming home around 2 plus to prepare for the rest of the dinner for SBUX. And now, I just finished inputting moeny into the envelope. Hope this will be enough.

my mind! And to think that I've known you for about 5 months! I hope
our friendship will last.
