Just came back from Kaori's house warming about an hour ago. It was fun. All was there except Wendy as she had exams. Reached about 11 plus. Ibu cooked Chicken Curry for Kaori. Hehe..It was fun. Anyway, spent a lot of time playing Scrabble, Uno, Tytie (if I get the spelling right). Then one by one, they headed off. I was the last to leave. Left around 9 plus whereas the rest left around 5 plus. I was just too tired to leave and moreover, there was no one at home so I rather be in the company of humans. Pictures below.
Another story of my life. My uncle was admitted to the hospital early this week. It's a shock to us because among all of us, he is the one who is very health conscious. It turned out that his arteries are blocked and he will have to go for a bypass soon. I am so scare when I heard about this. You see, my dad had bypass operation. While the operation itself was successful, my dad's health changed to worse and 3 months after that, he passed away.
I am not saying that my uncle might suffer the same fate as my dad because my uncle do not have other illness. It's just that I am so afraid that I might lose someone again. It's a hard time for my whole family. Grams just passed away 3 months ago, Pak Long about a week ago and now, my uncle have to go for bypass.
When I visited him on Wed, he was up and about, looking as normal as always. So I have not much to worry. However, Ibu gave me news that scare me even more. She went to SGH earlier to the results of her recent check up and they found that her arteries might be blocked too. So 25th Aug, she will have to go for a scope and if indeed her arteries are blocked, she will have to go for ballooning. I did some research and this is what I found.
Ballooning involves implanting a small, expandable wire mesh in clogged arteries as a scaffold to keep them open. It is generally recommended for patients below 60, to postpone the bypass.
I hope my uncle and my mom will be OK.
